Day 01            Siem Reap (Cambodia)

Arrive at Siem Reap International Airport, you will warmly welcome by our local Representative and transfer to your hotel.  Airport to Siem Reap town take approximately 7km.

 

Siem Reap has been known as one of the most popular tourism destinations in Cambodia. The province consists with fabulous temple, religious, night and day entertainments, etc.

 

Noon - Visit the Old Market.

Evening proceed to Smile of Angkor show and discover Cambodia's cultural heritage with a breathtaking mix of traditional music, dazzling dances, and enchanting tales. After enjoying a diverse and delicious buffet dinner, sit back and see 6 stunning acts that illuminate this country's striking history. Begin with "Dialogue with God," where a child full of questions travels through time to the mysterious city of Angkor. Next, learn about the history of Cambodian civilization and folklore in "Glorious Kingdom" before you witness the "Churning the Sea of Milk" dance, which depicts a war between the devas (gods) and the asuras (demons) fighting for Amrita, the Elixir of Life.

"Resurrection of God" finds dancers entering a trance-like state around a ring of fire, depicting stories engraved in the ancient Angkor Vat temple, the largest religious monument in the world. Then be captivated by the mystifying dance and unique performance in "Prayer of Life." For the finale, the "Smile of Angkor" brings the message of happiness by smiling. Smile for yourself as you come to the end of this truly captivating show.

Day 02            Siem Reap - Angkor Wat / Ta Phrom / Bayon

After breakfast at hotel, the tour will begin to see the antique capital of Angkor Thom (12 century): The South Gate with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk, the Bayon Temple, unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara, the Phimeanakas, the Royal Enclosure, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King.  Continue to visit Ta Prohm Temple, one of the area’s most beautiful temples. The temple of Ta Prohm was once used as a location in the famous Hollywood film Tomb Raider. Local set lunch at local restaurant around temple. After lunch, you will take a short walk to see Sra Srang Pond which was built in the late 12 centuries for royal bathing.

 

Afternoon, visit to Angkor Wat. Angkor Wat is listed as a World Heritage Site since 1992 because of its workmanships and architecture in ancient time. Angkor Wat features the longest continuous bas-relief in the world, which runs along the outer gallery walls and narrates stories from Hindu mythology until evening. Set Dinner at local Indian restaurant.

Day 03            Siem Reap – Tonle Sap Lakefly – Hanoi

After breakfast, you will travel directly to the Tonle Sap lake at Kampong Pluk area. You will take boat through the well-known great lake in Asia called Tonle Sap to explore and learn about the local lifestyle, local culture, education, local houses, market, flooded forests and local rice farms on the water.  After the boat tour, you Visit Artisans d’Angkor, established in 1992 in order to support Cambodian arts and crafts, and to help young people find work in their local villages by continuing the practice of traditional arts. Discover how wood and stone carvings, lacquering, gilding, and silk paintings are created. 

Later fly to Hanoi

Afternoon time You will be picked up at the Noi Bai International Airport with our private air-conditioned vehicle to transfer to the hotel for check-in. Our tour guide will help you check in hotel to Hnaoi.

Day 04 :           Hanoi -  full day City Tour

Morning start a full day city tour beginning with Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, which contains a rich collection of audio-visual documentation and more than 15,000 artifacts including life-size traditional houses depicting all aspects of life, culture, customs and belief of the 54 ethnic groups of Vietnam. Continue to the Temple of Literature, known as the first university of Vietnam built in 1070 by the Ly Dynasty to honor Confucius, sages and outstanding Vietnamese scholars. Afternoon visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex which features the life of Ho Chi Minh, the nation’s founder. Explore Ba Dinh Square, an important point of pilgrimage for many Vietnamese, the Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh Museum and the rural style Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts where he lived and worked. Stop by one of Hanoi’s icons, the One Pillar Pagoda, built in the 11th Century in dedication to Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara or Buddha of Compassion and reminiscent of a lotus blossom rising from a pond. Move on to one of the following museums of choice namely Hoa Lo museum, which is the leftover of the French Central Prison built in 1896 to detain Vietnamese political prisoners; the Museum of Fine Arts, Vietnamese Women’s Museum, the National Museum of Vietnamese History or the Museum of Revolution. Afterwards, visit Hoan Kiem Lake or “Returned Sword Lake” which originated from a legend of a sacred sword. On an islet in the lake, there locates Ngoc Son Temple which is accessible by a classically red painted wooden bridge. Touring through the Old Quarter, famous for its ancient streets representing traditional trades from the past.

Day 05            Hanoi – Halong – Overnight on Boat

Following breakfast leave Hanoi for a 4hour drive to Halong Bay including a 20-minutes stop on the way. Arrive at the jetty in Halong City towards noon and proceed with check-in formalities. Be welcomed onboard and have lunch will be served while cruising towards the bay itself. In the afternoon, enjoy some visits and/or activities (depending on each boat’s itinerary) or just spend some time relaxing on board. Towards the end of the day the boat sets anchor for the night among the karst formations. Dinner is served on board.

Overnight on Halong cruise

 

Day 06            Halong – Hanoi – depart

Enjoy the fresh morning in the middle of the bay, the sun rises on Halong in the morning and breakfast is served (brunch on some boats) while the vessels cruise slowly through the magnificent rock formations and back towards port. Disembark and transfer back to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi late in the afternoon. Arrival Hanoi, transfer to the airport for flight to your next destination
