Day 01            BAGDODRA / NJP  -  PHUNTSOLING   (approx. 140 kms /03 hrs)

On arrival you will be received by our representative. Leave by road for Phuntsoling . Drive through the lush green Tea garden in Duars. On arrival at Phuentsholing, check-in into your respective hotel.

Overnight stay in Phuentsholing.

 

Day 02            PHUNTSOLING  -  THIMPU         (approx 171 km / 6 hours )

After breakfast we visit the authorities to make our permits to enter Bhutan.   After getting permits drive to Thimpu; Capital Town of Bhutan. On the way you may visit Kharbandi Ghumpha-a Buddhist Monestry. Here you get the finest view of Phuntsoling and Jaigaon  We have our lunch enroute. Enjoy the drive between the valleys. On reaching Thimpu, check into Hotel. Rest of days is free for own activity.

Day 03            FULL DAY THIMPHU TOUR

After breakfast we leave on tour of Thimphu to visit –  1: Buddha Point;  2: Folk Heritage Museum;  3: Tashichodzong;  4: BBS Tower;  5: National Takin Zoo;  6: National Memorial Chorten

Overnight in Thimphu.

 

Day 04            THIMPHU – PUNAKHA

Early morning after breakfast,  leave for Punakha - another serene beauty of Bhutan via Dochula Pass.  If weather is clear you may witness the famous Mt. Zumolhari peaks from here. After reaching Punakha visit the famous monument of Bhutan -  Punakha Dzong : It is listed as a tentative site in Bhutan's Tentative List for UNESCO inclusion.

Later check-in at hotel.

Day 05            PUNAKHA – excursion to PHOBJIKA VALLEY

After breakfast we leave for Phobjika Valley - The broad valley with its best-known marshland in Bhutan, is popular for its scenic splendour and cultural uniqueness. The valley is rich in faunal biodiversity and has, apart from the globally threatened black-necked cranes Grus nigricollis, 13 other globally threatened species. Within the ambit of the valley, an area of about 163 square kilometres (63 sq mi) has been declared a protected area.

After day tour, return to Punakha.

Day 06            PUNAKHA - PARO

After breakfast drive to Paro ( 75 km ).  On reaching Paro, transfer to hotel.  

Evening enjoy shopping in local market at own.

Day 07            PARO – Tour

After breakfast we leave on tour of Paro to visit 1: Kichu Lakhang;  2: Drukgyel Dzong;  3: Rin Pung Dzong;  4: Taksang Monastery

Day 08            PARO – excursion to CHELA LA PASS / HAA VALLEY

After breakfast we leave on excursion to Haa valley – via Chele-la pass.

Chelela pass - Chele la (pass), at an elevation 3,988 meters is considered to be one of the highest motorable passes in Bhutan. About an hour's drive along a thickly-forested road, is this Pass-a botanical paradise. The pass provides stunning views of the sacred mountain Jomolhari and Jichu Drake. It is also marked by hundreds of prayer flags fluttering in the wind.

Day 09            PARO – PHUNTSOLING

After breakfast journey starts for Phuntsoling. Enjoy the beautiful valleys enrooted.Over night at Phuntsoling.

 

Day 10            PHUNTSOLING TO NJP / BAGDOLGRA

After breakfast journey starts for IXB /NJP.
